Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about the Your Next Move program (formerly Love Your Work). Can't find what you're looking for? Book a free call with Ellen.
The next round of Your Next Move runs from 29 October to 17 December 2026. Live calls are on Thursdays at 11.30am Melbourne time.
It's not a problem if you can't attend all (or even any) of the live calls. Hardly any of the Your Next Move participants attend every live call.
You can access the replay very easily by watching the video replay online or you can listen to the replay through a private podcast (on the podcast platform of your choice — Spotify, Apple, Google, etc).
If you can't attend live you can still submit your questions that Ellen will answer. You will also get the use of Ellen's support through the Your Next Move community platform and also Ellen's personalised Your Next Move GPT which will give you a career coach in your pocket.
The reason Ellen started the Your Next Move program was because she was noticing that her clients were not getting strong enough and fast enough results working 1:1. In her view, 1:1 coaching is great for mindset shifts but when it comes to working out what you want from your career, a structured, step-by-step approach with support of a group and a coach who holds you accountable actually gets much stronger results.
If you still think that you'd benefit from 1:1 support, Ellen does offer a 12-week 1:1 coaching container. You can get the details for 1:1 coaching by booking a call.
No, Ellen does not provide one-off support. She's found that most career challenges are layered and nuanced and need more than a quick chat to see real change.
Fair enough! Only you can know your budget, but Ellen knows that the Your Next Move program gets amazing results — pay rises, new jobs, career transformation and work-life systems that actually work.
If you're job searching at the moment, you can make your money back by getting a job faster. If you're looking to change jobs, you can get a great return on your investment by negotiating a pay rise.
But most importantly, you spend most of your time at work and just enjoying your work better than you do today is incredibly valuable.
Is there ever a right time? Most of our Your Next Move clients wish they had done the course sooner.
The great thing about Your Next Move is that you can repeat the course for only $499 if you need some more time, so why not just start? And know that you'll be well supported if you need to go at a slower pace.
First of all, there's no such thing as behind in Your Next Move — it's important that you go at your own pace.
You will have access to all the content for 6 months with an option to extend your access for $150. You also have the option to repeat the course as an alumni for $499.
Yep, Ellen has a no-questions-asked money-back guarantee so it takes all the risk out of the decision for you.
Yes, it's important to get your own tax advice but the course is deductible for most people (as a self-education expense).
100% — Your Next Move is perfect if you've just been made redundant. Ellen will help you make sure that you don't jump into a 'panic' role and Ellen and the Your Next Move community will be with you every step of the way to boost your confidence back up, help you apply for your next gig and support you through your negotiations.
We have strict confidentiality terms and conditions in the group, but as a former lawyer, Ellen absolutely understands how important privacy is. There are options to submit your questions anonymously if you want to feel more confident about privacy too.
